Clients who wish to take practical training lessons in their own vehicle need only to inform their Class instructor prior to the session. Clients should clearly display an L plate both to the front and rear of the vehicle and the vehicle must be fully insured. A seat belt, head restraint and internal mirror for the instructor's use should also be fitted. Any queries regarding vehicle insurance should be directed by the client to their insurance company.

There are some restrictions on a small number of vehicles that the DSA will not permit for the conduct of the practical driving test. These restrictions are mainly due to restricted provision of safe visibility for the examiner. Your Class instructor can advise on request.

Clients may also attend the DSA practical driving examination in their own vehicle that must be fitted with a seatbelt, head restraint and a rear view mirror for the examiner's use. They should ensure that all vehicle lights are operating correctly and the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition prior to attending for the test. For more information visit http://www.gov.uk/

In order to remain highly competitive, payments for training lessons can be made either by cash or cheque or debit/credit card. Cheque's are to be made payable to the Class instructor for which a record will be presented. With the exception of the first 2 hour training session, payments are to be made in advance by 2 hours.

(1) Includes the cost of the Class mock test but does not include the 2 hours session required for the day of the DSA practical test

(2) The Class mock test begins with a 1 hour lesson of revision and test preparation followed by a formal mock test replicating the DSA practical test

(3) Includes a 1 hour lesson of revision and test preparation and 1 hour car hire for the DSA practical test

(4) Cost reduced by £1.00 ph, should the client choose to attend in their own car.
